Pentax K-3 II GPS Flex Circuit (or dead camera)

I acquired a Pentax K-3 II that had been dropped and appears to have suffered more damage than I originally thought. During the disassembly process, I discovered the flex circuit connecting to the GPS antenna was broken. It looks like the adhesive that originally attached the flex circuit to the top housing let go, allowing increased movement that eventually resulted in a stress fracture.

Without the flex circuit the camera locks up within a few seconds of turning on, and won't turn off without removing the battery (similar symptoms to the initial K-3 II power off problem). If anyone has a flex circuit from a dead camera (or a complete dead camera), please let me know.

Sorry but a K-3 will not work. I specifically need the flex circuit that connects to the GPS antenna and is only used on the K-3 II. The connectors are different at each end, so I cannot use a generic flex jumper . Thank you for reaching out though.

K3 II parts

I have a K-3 II that was dropped and not able to be repaired for less than the cost of a replacement. I used it for several months after it was dropped but it was never the same. But the GPS was working before the camera died completely. I took it partially apart after it was returned by the repair facility bas unrepairable. I left the cover off of the GPS and it is around but not sure where.

If you are interested PM me.
