| my first national shot
I'm not sure if this is the right place to toot my own horn but... Yesterday (Monday) the Irish Examiner published one photo to sum up the Catherine Street Cultural Festival, which went on for three days here in Limerick, Ireland.... and it was mine! I beat out several pro photographers despite the fact I was only shooting casually and with no eye on journalistic appeal. And furthermore I was the only person shooting Pentax (obviously), up against full frame systems, Canon, Nikon, the works. Here's the shot, taken from this thread. Louise Campbell & Neville Gawley of Limerick Tango  (Shot with the FA 77mm Limited.) I have other images that interest me more, but there's no arguing with success! | |
