Photographing fireflies/lightening bugs

Since I posted this, the fireflies have thinned out. I don't know if it's because of the heat, predators or just their life cycle. I do know they will be back en masse the end of next April because that's when they always first appear.

The Heat most likely.
There were a lot of fire flies around my apt until the heat at night got over 80 with high humidity.
That's my guess anyway.
