To all interested: Create a Macro Photographers social group?

I have a question for all macro photographers on this forum. Would it be useful to start a 'Macro Photographers' group in the social groups? I know, most of these groups serve as regional subdivisions, especially in the larger countries like the US and AUS, but wouldn't such a group be a nice way to share experiences and questions? What do you think? Would it be helpful, or not?

All ideas are welcome!

If I had a macro lens as I once did, I would participate enthusiastically. As it is, I'd love to learn how you macro-masters achieve the beautiful results you do. I'm often left wondering "How did he/she DO that?" when I see your macros in Post Your Photos.

Superb idea Rense!

Great place to share ideas and resources IMHO. It would also be useful for many new users looking to get into macro. There are many macro questions in both the beginners forum and queries in the Post your Photos section.

Sign me up.

Cheers

Okay. I think it has to grow, but I guess from the first response, there is enough interest in doing such a thing. I will start a social group Macro Photography, open to read for everyone. See you there!

I'm six feet tall..... is that too large to be considered for inclusion as a "Macro Photographer"?
