Mirror Image

Hoping someone can tell me why an image would come out as though shot through a mirror?

Was shooting with a friend the other night and took about 100 shots between us of a couple of bottles beside a candle. On one shot, and one shot only, the label of the bottle was reversed, as if it were a mirror image. No real movement of the camera in the frames before or after, and definitely not a mirror anywhere near us at the time.

If someone could explain why this would have happened I would be most curious.

Can you post an example of both?

The first image is the one where the label of the bottle is mirrored, and the second is the shot after that.

note that in both shots the bottle is on the same side of the candle, whereas if the entire first shot were a mirror image, the bottle should be on the other side of the candle. It is only the bottle label that is reversed

It looks like you are seeing the label lit from the front, and looking through the back of the bottle.

Definitely not looking through the back of the bottle. These were shot head on. If you look carefully you can see the same chest of drawers in the background in both shots

The bottle was turned wherein the label was facing the candle.

Look at the barcode on the lower picture, it was on the right side of the label.

Loot at the barcode on the lower edge left side now of the upper photo.

The barcode side is the only part of the label almost at the edge or side of the bottle that is really facing the camera while the brand or trademark was at the other side facing the candle.

Therefore the bottle's label was facing the candle making it like an Xray or See Trough shot thus appearing like a mirror image.
