Hi fellow pentaxians.
Tomorrow I am spending nearly all day at the casino shooting their Football Grand Final celebrations. I will be doing a fair bit of walking around, and want to keep my kit light. All of the photography will be indoors at distances 2-20m, and mostly of events as opposed to portraiture. I should not use a flash.

My relevent equipment list is as follows:
Pentax K-x (white)
Pentax k100d
Pentax DA 35mm ltd macro
Tamron 90mm di sp macro
Pentax DA 18-55 AL II
Pentax DA 18-55 AL
Pentax 50mm f1.4 manual prime

other:
external hotshoe mounted flash
2x sets eneloop battereies
2x flash memory cards

I was thinking I will only bring my k-x with the DA 35mm & 90mm tamron, spare batteries and memory.

Since this is my 1st event, would any of you kind people have advice?

I agree with the k-x and the DA 35 but if this is all inside isn't the 90mm a little long? I think I would take the 18 - 55 in case you need something wide. It will not be as good if things are not well lighted but it is the only wide lens you have. And I would throw the 50mm f/1.4 in a pocket just in case.

Just my opinion of course.

What is your reasoning for taking the 90mm?
