Pentax *istD in Energizer Bunny commercial

Is it my imagination or is this an *istD in this commercial (note, they have flipped the "negative" in the profile view of the camera).

The gold ring on the lens was the first clue... then it took a while to remember which body had the IR window on the left side.

How old is this ad to have featured a *ist D?

Fairly new ad Ash... It just started airing in the last few days and I realized the lens looked familiar. And its for the newest Energizer Lithiums.

The lens does appear to be a DA*16-50. Note the AF/MF switch on the "flipped" portion of the video at 3secs (obvious flip because she is holding the camera with her "left" hand in the "profile shot and her watch & bracelet has changed sides too). The flipped shot also shows the *istD's distinct "accessory" cover and the remote control port. The shot at 10secs shows the IR window clearly (ruling out it being a K-series DSLR.

Holy cow!
Sure looks like a *ist D
Can't speak for the lens since I don't own nor have I ever handled a 16-50.
But that is just crazy.

The DA* 55/1.4 will not af on the *istD since it is SDM only.

At least they actually used a camera that uses AA batteries vs a camera with a camera that has it's own custom type battery. I wonder how often that mistake happens.
