Anybody Need a body or two?

40 SLR Bodies for 350.00. If I had a few bucks to spare I might consider it for eBay...

Ok, who wants them? They live in my neck of the woods so you can rent my truck to pick up the load.

One of the big Toronto dealers often has piles of bodies (and kit lenses) like this out for sale at camera shows and their discount location, though generally for $20 per body or lens. They take trade ins and break up collections to sell everything individually. There's lots of demand for decent lenses that can still be used in one way or another on digital bodies, but not nearly as much for low to mid range film SLRs.

I'm guessing that Steinback is correct. Someone bought camera kits & sold the lenses & flashes. Why wasn't there an Lx in there somewhere?

I counted this morning - I currently have 21 film SLR bodies with Pentax mounts, all in working condition. They were bought used over the last three years (I was a Minolta shooter before that). I also have a few Nikons, Minoltas, and Yashicas.

If I had kept all camera bodies I bought, working or non working, Pentax or non-Pentax, the number would probably be 60 or 70.

So 40 SLR bodies is not really outrageous as it sounds.

It looks like I have some "catching up" to do :-)
I only have accumulated 3 bodies over a 30 year period + a couple of point and shoots (if they count).

You should buy the other 40 and start a museum/camera shop!!! lol
