Taking the K10D for its first shoot today

Going to take my new K10D out for a test shoot. Decided on a good subject before I put it to use on the race track....Niagara Falls. Will post some for C & C later today.

cant seem to attach anymore photos. will have to upload the lot to my smuggy accout and link from there I guess

One thing I alraedy like about the K10D is it being water resistant. Went on the Maid of the Mist and all I needed to do is keep the mist off the lens, while everyone else had their other brands tucks snugly under their raingear.

LOVELY!!!, they have the 3D look in them especially the 1st. one. In silence maybe some of them seeing you w/ the K10 are wishing they have it too under that shooting condition in the Miaden of the Mist. Thanks for sharing.

Cheers,

Or they thought he was nuts

Fantastic photos mudnmoto, can't wait to see the rest. I heard there's a path you can walk on that takes you just about under a part of the falls. Apparently you can take some incredible photos from down there.

Love the Falls but haven't been there nearly enough. Now that I'm commuting to Buffalo for work, I might just hop on over there one day for an afternoon photo session!

Some great shots here and on the Smugmug account. Too bad we have to protect our pictures this way but as another thread discussed it would seem your work is free for the taking if you don't protect it somehow.

You could also make a donation to this site to get more space and also help Mo keep this great forum going. Check donation page out here:

Oh I hear you. The LBA can really set you back. I only mentioned it because many members don't realize that Mo foots the expenses himself. Anyway welcome to the forum, its a great spot and from the great look of your first shots posted here, I look forward to your future pics.

Hi there.

'Some great shots, of a truly great place. Like yourself, I live in relatively close proximity (Amherst, NY) to the 'Falls. As many times as I have gone there to shoot, I always look forward to getting there again. You've done very well with your new acquisition - as evidenced here, as well as at your SmugMug site. Keep up the good work, and maybe I'll happen to see you up there - shooting some more of the 'Falls .
