Hi,
I've started to work as a night club photohrapher, and I need some advice.


I want to use my camera +flash wirelessly.

is it possible to use it wirelessly and with rear curtain sync.

would I be able to use such feature with radio trigger? or should I need the pttl cord to use this feature.

my camera and flash are pentax kr +AF540fgz

If you want it to work reliably, a cord is your best bet. Wireless via the pop-up flash as master will be unreliable in a environment with flashing lights (such as a nightclub). And I don't know of any radio triggers that support pentax P-ttl. So, its pretty much just the cord.

well that's sad.

but I have comeup with the solution.

for slow shutters like 1/4 to 1/10 of a second I will use the flash mounted on camera with rear curtain sync feature,

While with radio triggers, I'll use shutter speeds 1/15 to 1/30 sec. and a bit higher ISO so the light will be different, even though there won't be much other effects.
