Left-eye shooting?

I'm in the Right-eye dominant Left-eye sharper boat with a couple other people here. for general autofocus shooting I just use whichever eye happens to land on the viewfinder. I can see the line on the bottom well enough with either eye to adjust settings without looking at the top or back screens. for MF and macro shooting however I tend to stick to the left (sharper) eye.

I never thought I would like contact lenses, but I love them for this exact reason. Mine are thirty day disposables, I take them out once a week just for the heck of it. After the first month of adjustment it has been a glorious couple of years.

Apologies if this is pointless due to unavailability/bifocal/astigmatism/etc.

Left eye user, and glasses-wearer, here too.
If you are tripod or monopod mounted, try using your left hand as a temporary "hood" above/beside ... if nothing else it cuts down on some of the glare in the periphery coming in.

Left eye shooter, right hander here also. I have always shot left eyed (sounds like a handicap, yes), as it seemed more natural. I also have the "nose effect" on the LV button (Pentax needs to change this I think). Really it is what you are comfortable with. As is evident by the LV / nose thing, cameras are designed for right eyed people for the most part, but as long as it works for you! Personally, I cannot close my left eye comfortably, so left eye open is the only choice!
