New York pentaxians, did you lose your film in the blizzard?

This guy found a roll of film in Prospect Park. Saw a couple pentax cameras/neckstraps in there and figured it was worth seeing if anyone was out there. Nice stuff whoever it was.

Wow:

When I got my Mamiya Sekor 1000DTL in 1969 (when I was 13), I used to take three buses every Saturday to take darkroom classes at the Brooklyn Museum, and would then go to Prospect Park, right next to it, to shoot, usually in the winter.

I posted this two threads below yours.
It's been said that it is possibly a fake, inspired by the Vivian Maier hype or so. The guy is a film maker.
But the film is good!

That was cute, it was on my facebook this morning. I expect that every single photo forum is going to have a new post like this one every single day for quite a while, unless people learn how to search but I am not going to hold my breath for that.

He found the owner:

I thought leaving another film intentionally might have made sense if he didn't announce it.

I don't care if that was a true story or a fabrication.

It was a great tale.
