All but the top one were taken on W. Grand Blvd. The top one is on Woodmere at Fort Street across from the cemetery. Surprisingly, or not, that area isn't quite as burned out. The house shown is an exception on that particular block.
It isn't really my intention to paint the city as a shithole. There Are some very well kept and up-scale neighborhoods left but they are becoming harder to find. Most of the people still there, consider it a thing of pride. The others are simply stuck. Either they are too poor to believe they can improve their home situation, or they are too old to care about moving (they figure they'll be dead soon anyway). There has been a lot of work done downtown and around the Casinos but as soon as one leaves those areas, the photos show the type of sight they'll witness. Every election cycle, a few of these will get knocked down to make it look like the incumbents are doing something. I think if they got rid of the roadblock known as the City Clowncil, things would improve much quicker. That's just one suburbanite's opinion though.
