some kind of red and green shift

hej there!

i went through my last pictures and there i noticed this kind of a red / green shift around my legs (attachment) - simple questions: what could that be? and why?

my equipment was pentay k-x with its kit lens.

im not yet that kind of a pro - so i didnt know how to search for that kind of a problem although i might guess this is something well known - is it actually a solvable problem?

thanks for enlighting me!

kind regards
steffen

That's just some chromatic aberration, and it's there because a. the subject is out of focus and b. the edges are contrasty and c. the lens isn't the cream of the crop. This is normal.
