I have a Sigma 530 ST flash which has proven to be an able performer for a beginner strobist, but I am looking into getting some gear on eBay to help me fire this thin wirelessly. Anyone have some experience with this? I am hoping that it isn't a case of the trigger working only at full power. The stuff I'm looking at is here

Just use the manual mode ...but that does not look like what you need...
You should look into the radio triggers, there are some pretty cheap out there like the cactus (v5 or v4), or the yonnuo's rf's (rf603)....there are others.
What you liknk is an adapter, and it can be used to trigger the flash using a pc chord...but that's not wireless.
Seing you are in hong kong i would go for the V5...look at the in depth review here in the forums.
