Since Pentax japan vs the rest of the world has sort of been incompatable, it is nice to see a "source" has opened up a bit... Now if there was a full English "top" , that would be nice:

I would love to get one of those wide straps, but can't figure out how to order it, lol

If I'm reading this right and converting the yen properly the price of the Tamron 18-250 comes out to $343 US. If it hits that here before Christmas I'll buy one.

If it's a simple case of converting the currency then yes that sounds good. I doubt that will be the case though... and if it is I will be quite cross since the UK price is expected to be over £350

I've had this thing strapped to my K1000 for about fifteen years. I forgot how comfortable that is compared to the thin strap that came with the K100D, but it sure does attract attention!
