I'm not a site expert, but your site (and pictures) looks impressive to me. Two comments:

1. Fix the spelling, particularly the use of 's (gallery's, etc.)

2. Having anything, even a white line, inside the border of the pictures just seems annoying to me, but that's just personal taste.

Nice webpage.

However I would recommend that you proof-read the text and eradicate spelling and grammatical errors.

*In Welcome
"...I am a amatuer photographer ..." (amateur)

"I am an amateur photographer...

hi and great job!
the only thing that I would recommend is to make the subtitles smaller and possibly a different font and color (subjective)
a different font for the title would make it look a bit more "professional" looking. of course it all is a matter of opinion and taste....
It definitely is interesting enough to keep people there and coming back to check once and a while.
If you would like any help what so ever please pm me and I will try to help you!

cheers

You must mean the yellow header titels..I could make the font a wee smaller..
I will go and play with the fonts, but believe it or not, people say they can't see some of the cursive, so I just made the fonts plain and easy to read....And boy I had to put directions on how to use the slideshows..LOL..
Well, this is my first web site....
Thank for looking!!!

what you need to do is make the title in photoshop were you can put drop shadows, etc and then save it as a jpg and then place it in your web page. that way you can use any font you like, and everyone will see it.

btw, which program are you designing the site with? dreamweaver?

cheers

Hey Slip, that looks sweet!

No, I am just using the website templates, But, I can change the Font style, size and color, but that is it. I like my Picture as the header, but I could use the Name logo, similar to what you did if i want to ever change it... Which in the future I will. I had a different picture there for awhile before...
Thanks for your help! Awesomeness!!

By the way, I am also ganna get me a Pentax k-5, no matter what HE say's...LOL!!

On the topic of proof reading, this thread title should have been "My humble request for your opinion on my website" rather than request our "humble opinions". Best not to insult the people you want opinions from in the title of the thread.
