You know what? I think I'm going to resurrect my PZ-20 and fill it with some great 100 speed film from the camera store that we've got locked in the freezer. Should be fun and it's always good to warm up an old love.

It's sad to see it gone (can't say I was around to see it really go, or at least take notice).

It's odd that Kodak or anyone else never really tried to emulate it on E-6 emulsions.

Though, photogs, being who they are, would probably bitch just as loudly about the "supposed" replacement as they did about Kodachrome's demise...

Apparently, Fuji Astia can do the skintones, almost.

Fuji Astia is also hellishly expensive.
