Old cameras

i have two old cameras i pick up at the flea market ..the first one is a mamiya/sekor 500 DTLin ok shape the 2nd is a Voigtlander dynamatic in great shape and it had the box and tage still on it can anyone tell anything about eather one of them ???

The Mamiya was a very popular beginner's camera about 40+ years ago. I'm not familiar with that particular Voigtlander -- you might google for information. Be aware that film cameras that old may have worn and corroded seals and battery compartments, sticky shutters, etc. They may be usable, or they may be show-pieces. Good luck!

Yep. I believe the Mamiyas are prone to a certain problem that may not be worth trying to fix, but I can't recall off the top of my head what it is: a plastic part that tends to become brittle with age, or an internal cable, I think. If it works, it ought to be good while it lasts apart from usual concerns.
