Blast from the Past... (old photos)

I've been slowly (very) scanning my dad's photos and thought some of you might enjoy seeing a few. My dad passed away in 2001, and we didn't "find" these slides until about 2009... so you can imagine, it was a pretty amazing feeling to have these and be able to enjoy them. I also love that with today's technology, other people can see my dad's photos too. He was way into photography, but of course I didn't really appreciate that fact until after he was already gone.

Outstanding. I'd like to see a section just for things like this. I've got a lot of old slides and negatives, and my dad also has a bunch from over 60 years ago. I think you kind of get a 'mood' from photo's like these.

Nice shots! the Kitchen is nice but I truly like the 4th one.

Thanks everyone... yes, the kitchen shot is one of my favorites; there's just something kinda special about it. I'm really going to try to get on the ball and scan at least a strips worth (4) each week...
