What? No Pentax iPhone "The strap on" DSLR Mount?

story here: Lens mount lets you turn your iPhone 4 into a DSLR | ZDNet
and here: iPhone 4 SLR Mount lets you shoot 5-megapixel photos with your $3,000 lens -- Engadget

Why is it that only Canikons get to enjoy the pleasures of this simple device for their iPhones?

I think we can all agree without an equivalent mount for our lenses, how can we prove that the 5 megapixel sensor in the iphone is vastly superior to that of the k-5?

Wanna make the change? http://photojojo.com/store/press/photos/iphone-slr-mount

$250 for a piece of plastic? How about a $60 adapter to turn your $2000 DSLR into a $20 Holga?

Just get a Nikon D7000 and a Holga lens with nikon mount. . . . for $18-24. The come in pink, blue, red, yellow, purple, green, white, black etc.

Hahaha! I hope I can see someone actually use this out in public someday. That would make my day.

It's kind of an exercise in futility.

Why is the person in the picture holding the iphone upside down? Maybe I am looking at it wrong, but it looks like the picture on the iphone is upside down. Trees on top, sky on bottom?

I see the "S" and I see the "L", but where the hell is the "R" in the equation?

Sorry.....not "SLR".

That's how the lens throws an image. The iPhone lacks a prism to correct the orientation of the image.

You would think that for $250 the company would throw in a camera app that corrected the orientation.

I'm tempted to hack up an old lens rear cap and try this!

Although it wouldn't be with an iPhone
