There's always a way to save money - it's part of my "other" job to look for the best deal for my employer. But again, in this instance I picked one PC vendor and Apple and stuck to what they offered.

Now, here's another reality check - unless you're doing video production or animation, there is no reason whatsoever you need Xeon processors to run photo editing software as they are server processors.

Maybe I'll try comparing a Mac All-in-One 21" beauty with an HP all in One. I tell ya - HP has tried, but while Apple's looks downright sexy, HP's all-in-one offering looks like The Terminator in Drag.

Haha, yeah.

I was in an Apple store yesterday and the iMac is an absolutely beautiful machine. Even the back of it which you never see is far better looking than any PC companies all-in-one.

As you noted, the Xeon is way more powerful than many people need and I was trying to say that with my comment as well.
