Ok folks.. It is time for yet another stupid question ... but everyone is always soo good at answering them that I can't help myself!!!!!

The Question: What is Lens "IQ" ???

At first I thought it was just the ease of use? but now I am thinking it is probably something else.

Any help with this definition is much apprecaited!!!!

I think you're referring to image quality as it is impacted by the lens. Of course, without knowing the exact context, that's simply a best guess - the most common usage.

You are right Mike - a lot of this is not intuitive. When you say "we" did you really mean "I"?

Perhaps if there was a thread started with acronyms and other photographic information "someone" could glean the gems out and consolidate them into a 'sticky' post.

Which forum would you think suit such a thread? "Help" "Everything Else" and "Knowledge Base" don't get nearly as much attention as some of the other forums so I'm not sure how helpful it would be.
