Avoiding green screen bleed?

I'm doing a little bit of experimenting with green screen (pictures and video), but I noticed that I'm getting green bleeding onto the edges of my subject.

How do I avoid this?

it might be the reflective light if so letting them stand further from the screen might work.

Okay, but what if I want to get a full body shot and the person needs to stand on the green screen?? Could it also possibly be that my lighting is causing trouble as well?
