Adobe Photoshop

My friend gave me Adobe Photoshop to try on a cd. When I put it into my computer, my computer just keeps trying to load it but it never actually shows up. And when i look in My Computer, it doesn't show up there either. My computer is Windows XP, which is what my friend said is what the cd is made for. Any help is appreciated.
Thank you,
Amanda

It could just be a 'bad burn'.
Or is it a CD-RW? If CD-RWs are not finalized, they usually are only readable in the drive that burnt them.
You can go to Adobe and download a trial also.

I second what smokey said. It might just be a bad burn, or a scratched surface.
Get the CD image on a pen drive and then mount it on your PC.

If all you're doing is installing the trial and have access to high speed internet, just download it. Might be much quicker than waiting for a new CD and you might even get to try a newer version.

Besides - if your friend has Vista and he didn't burn it properly (closed the session), you will never be able to open it.
