My quick shot. I did what may constitute a very dangerous act (more for my eyes, than the camera), and shot the sun without a solar filter. I used two polerizers to cut light down so that I could expose for the sun. That little trick was something I read on the forums a couple of years back. Still it took a 1/8000 sec shutter speed, and F40 at 300 mm to resolve everything, with my eyes closed, of course. I tripped the shutter when the innards of my eyelids lit up.
Would I do this again? ABSOLUTELY NOT!
