Book Recommendations

I just finished "Understanding Exposure" which was fantastic. It answered so many of the questions that were running around in my head. Now, of course I have to work on putting into practice everything "I think" I've learned ). I'm actually going to re-read this book in a few weeks. Anyhow, I'm looking for a book recommendation....something focused on technique...particularly exposure and composition (not too much focus on post processing, bracketing, etc.) written in plain language like "Understanding Exposure" was written. Thanks!

I think Michael Freeman's "The Photographer's Eye" is a good book on composition. No technical language at all

Photographer's eye and photographer's mind are both excellent. They are my go to books.

Keep in mind these are books that focus mainly on the 'artistic' side of photography.

If you want to learn how your autofocus system works these are not for you.

If you want to know the elements of a good photograph then these are your books.

I also like that Peterson so much

Best photobook for me this far:
The BetterPhoto Guide to Photographing Light: Learn to Capture Stunning Light in any Situation by Jim Miotke and Kerry Drager.

I did learn that suitable Light is so very important...
