The first three shots are scans from Kodachrome 64 slides I shot between 10 and 15 years ago. They were shot with a Pentax LX camera on a tripod. Probably somewhere between f/8 and f/16. The fourth and fifth photos are scans from Fujichrome slides from about 1 1/2 years ago. They are hand-held at f/2 or close to it. They show some camera shake as shutter speeds were low. Image 4 is the interior of a Mexican restaurant shot on Velvia 100F, and image 5 is the interior pool at Hearst Castle shot on Provia 400. Even at f/2, the corners are reasonably sharp. (Look at the carving on the post on the left side of the restaurant shot--the portion within the depth of field is pretty sharp.) This is the best I can do for samples at present.
Scanned using a Nikon Coolscan V ED at maximum resolution with 14 bit color depth, saved as 16 bit TIFFs (110 MB each!) and then resized with Adobe Lightroom (with minimal pp). The samples below are at the maximum file size that PentaxForum allows (500kB), which does not do justice to the originals. The originals look beautiful.
