Slide duplicators

I've been thinking of getting a slide duplicator - the attachment type not the scanner. I have an HP slide scanner which I used only once because I figure using an on-camera scanner would be faster.

I've read and been told I might have a problem in that what's available out there (for my budget) were made for the film SLRs and anyone using a dSLR or a non-full-frame would have a problem.

There was someone on the Marketplace who was selling one but s/he has disappeared, meaning hasn't responded.

So, what are your thoughts or ideas?

Thanks
jc
