It's definitely not cheap for 2 piece of glass, but it's quite useful!

I bought one of these a few years ago and found it to work really well except for a strong magenta cast when doing very long exposures.
That was with my *ist-DL. When using it with my K-5 it works perfectly.

I think I have the 2-8 stop one, more like ~130 for 70mm+ size.
