PSPXI version 11.11 EXIF info problem

Anyone find that when the crop a JPG in PSPXI that the EXIF info gets striped to minimul info? I orginally thought it was Silkypix but think now that PSP is the issue.

It normally shows this:
EXIF Type EXIF Data
Make PENTAX Corporation
Model PENTAX *ist DS
X Resolution 300/0 dots per inch
Y Resolution 300/0 dots per inch
Resolution Unit Inch
Exposure Time 1/90 sec
F-Number F2.8
Exposure Program Aperture priority
ISO Speed Ratings 800
Date/Time Original 2006:12:08 19:15:27
Date/Time Digitized 2006:12:08 19:15:27
Exposure Bias Value 0
Metering Mode Center weighted average
Flash No flash fired, compulsory flash mode
Focal Length 110.0 mm
Sensing Method One-chip color area sensor
Custom Image Processing Normal
Exposure Mode Auto
White Balance Mode Manual
Focal Length in 35mm Film 165.0 mm
Scene Capture Type Standard
Contrast Normal
Saturation Normal
Sharpness Normal
Subject Distance Range Distant view

But if I crop anything it leaves only this:
EXIF Type EXIF Data
Compression JPEG compression
Make PENTAX Corporation
Model PENTAX *ist DS
Orientation top, left side
X Resolution 72 dots per inch
Y Resolution 72 dots per inch
Resolution Unit Inch
Software Paint Shop Pro Photo 11.11

Thumbnail Offset 13304 bytes
Thumbnail Length 6418 bytes
YCbCr Positioning Datum point
Thumbnail Data [6418 bytes of thumbnail data]
IPTC Type IPTC Data
Directory Version 2

Just found I am not the only one with this issue.Seems like the update I did actually did this and Corel seems to be working on it, I hope.

Hi Pat,
Can you reverse the update? I have the Norton GoBack and this program would reset everything back to a time before you installed the update. If you do have this program you would want to save everything you did up to now on a disk except for PSPXI update. and run Go back. You can then put the disk back in and restore your other files. (just a thought).

Good Shooting.
Cheers: David

What about the rest of us with PSP XI.11?

But what about those like me, for whom v11.11 was their first? This EXIF deletion is getting irritating!

may have to wait on update to have resolved, may end up as 11.12 to fix it or what ever the next update may be from corel.

I am pleased to announce to you that there's now a PSP XI version 11.20! And the EXIF data isn't erased after cropping!
