Hey vdubbin099....I'm over here in Lake City, MN just down the road from either your home or your school. My family lives in Rochester and I grew up just out of town.

OK, if your are interested in more discussion, then let's start by being unofficially, the Upper Midwest Pentax Group, for now. Let's be open to anyone who is living in, used to live in, can see in or would like to live in the upper midwest (including MN, WI, MI and IL). Hopefully that doesn't get too restrictive. In other words, you are all invited!

The key is to post pictures and commentary of persons, places and things (including Pentax cameras, technology, etc) from the upper midwest that interest us. Let's just agree that the pictures are not obscene, the commentary friendly and that we can all be comfortable. We must also abide by the rules of the Pentax Forum that is our host.

I'll start off by adding a link to my photoblog that has a variety of photos from the upper midwest:

I've been in Wisconsin once on a business trip. I really love the place specially the small town of La Crosse. Madison is a nice college town.
I miss the deep fried cheese curds and the cow pie. I wish I can go back there again and stay longer.

Where do you hail from up there? NW WI is kind of in the path of that wonderful storm. We are on the south end of it and getting a mix of rain and snow.

Will it EVER END!!??!!

You can access groups by clicking "User CP" at the top of the screen, then looking down the left column and it's almost to the bottom.
