reasons for grey or white in the corner?

hi there,

please have a look at the pictures below. I don't know whether I have those issues because of light leak or photo processing and scanning at Walgreen.

Thanks a lot!

Thank you! But I don't this issue in other pictures from the same roll. Does light leak happen by chance? I am new to film photography and this is the first roll I got.

I'll let others chime in, but this may be a weak seal triggered depending on where your hand presses the camera back while taking the shot. My best guess.

I agree.

Also what plays in here is how the camera is orientated. Weak seals let in light at certain angles.

Buy a seal kit. or be cheap like me and make your own seals from a neoprene mousepad with an exacto knife.
Glue it on with contact cement.

Thank you! I am also considering the foam tape from building material and double-side sticky tape. Don't know whether this will work. Or I may just use some black tape to wrap around the back door.

The 2nd photo looks like the curtain didn't open fully? Just wondering.
Light leaks are pretty cool, unless you don't like them....

could it be the light is too strong? and I used large aperture. Something wrong with the lenses? or shutter problem?

Leaks are indeed cool. I just got the camera and wanted to test it. I expected it to be in good condition.
