Took me a while to find them, but here are some of my better ones...

These were all taken with the 'kit' lens.

I was going to post this pic in my thread about my new 300mm lens but I'm doing it here instead.
Now this is the Vivitar TX 300/5.6 with the Pentax A-2X-S teleconverter shot wide open on a cloudy day at ISO 1000 on a tripod.
Lowell, if you see this, this lens does not have ca, it has CA! So bad that if you try to shoot a bird on a branch with the sky as a background you can see heavy CA, IN THE VIEWFINDER, lol, I'm not kidding. It turns any branches reddish purplish or in some cases, greenish.
BUT, on the other hand, there is something about this lens and, I admit, maybe I'm rationalizing this to justify my $38 purchase:-).
This combo isn't for pixel peepers by any means but there may be a use for this lens.
This is no award winner, for sure, and I'm hesitant to post it here among some truly great photographs in this thread but check out the 3D effect here:

Pretty brave putting a 2x on that bad boy I checked my old vivitar 300mm it's a t-4 f5.5, I'll have to pull it out to see how it was I don't think it's too bad stopped down, nasty wide open. Hey it makes your dog look 5 yrs. younger.

This is the best I can do for a 3d look I think. This is an old lens too, a Soligor 300/4.5, I think this shot was stopped down to f8.

Here's one I shot a couple of days after I bought my K100DS. I don't know about anyone else but I kind of like it. Kit lens at 55mm, ISO 200, f8 @ 1/500 sec. No post processing other than to cut the size down to fit here. What you see is what I got.

Good to see a few additions to this thread.

And if you're bored of flowers this one is not about the flower
The leaves on the right stem seem to float off the page don't you think?
