plastic bag and rubber bands should do it.

I have a small Stormjacket cover (Storm Jacket Camera Covers) that works well. More expensive and probably no more waterproof than the plastic bag and rubber bands, but easier to use!

how do you prevent the front glass from the water??? the pictures get blurry when tje front glass is wet
my only solution is to use a hood but, 16-45's hood is very small...

No real option other than the hood and being carefull (keep the camera pointing down when not shooting) that I can think of. You can get neoprene covers that will stretch over the lenshood when not shooting, but I've not tried them. However, if you keep a UV filter or suchlike on the lens, you can at least wipe it without getting too paranoid about damaging the front element. (Please don't lets hijack this into another filter or not filter thread - this has done this to death in the forum already!)

You can possibly make yourself an extended hood with card stock, matte black to avoid reflections. The advice to not point the camera up is very good as well.

yes i believe mrc will work, because 50-135 doesn't allow droplets to stick on the filter....
thank you guys, i am indebted to you...

Now why did I not think of the solution that is in my signature photo: a Tilley T-3 hat! The brim covers the camera and a normal sized lens quite nicely! And when it is not raining, it becomes a parasol.

Saw a "professional" (my word) plastic bag somewhere online just today for, I think, $5.95. After rubber-banding it to the lens, it is long enough to go about 1/2 down your forearm.

Found it:

SpecialK, that's the OP/Tech product; they're only sold in 2-packs, IIRC.
