This takes the cake. I love that the seller says "Please bid with caution". Nah throw caution to the wind. I'll just rob a bank.

I have made some dumb moves on Ebay but not this week. I want one of these but the prices these days are just too high.

WOW, I know that is supposed to be a GREAT lens, but when you can get the 77 Limited for much less, why would ya pay $2k for this one?

just thought I would note that there is one of these with 17hrs left selling out of canada for 1000 with no bids on it.... **i will not be bedding - which is why I'm posting it here..

item number 320238932936

he also has a couple other FA's for sale... i asked him why he was selling and he is happy with the new 16-50 & 50-135, but said the 85mm was by far the sharpest of the pack.

if you decide... happy bidding

Tim

Yeah I saw the $1000 one but I just bought an FA*300mm f4.5 (should be here next week). So a little (a lot!) tapped out this month. It'll probably close around $1300 given today's prices. It's not worth twice as much. I've used the A*85mm f1.4 (MF version) that is optically the same lens. It's the best piece of glass I've ever shot with but not double the quality of my 77mm Ltd. Maybe 10% sharper and similar IQ with both.

Yer right Dave, Duh. (bangs head on table). I knew I bought that Bigma for a reason. I like walking up and down main street with the lens fully extended.
