I imagine that one would make the cut in a whole lot of places!

Fantastic shot...

Beautifully done! Congratulations!
I'd welcome information on which lens you used, etc.
Thanks.

Nice shot Rosemary, and congrats on making the cut. I just noticed that picture was also in the PPG. I like to go there every once in awhile just to see if I can recognize any shots from forum members. There are quite a few!

It is a beatifull picture. A really beautifull picture. That leaf could not be more alive.
Is it natural droplets, or did you use a spray bottle? It would not make the picture less valuable to me, but I'm curiuous. The red nerves against the green...complement color? It works very well.

Thank you everyone
I love to shoot in the rain so the drops are the real deal. I never use a spray bottle, at least not yet, lol
I think I shot that with my Pentax a 70-210 lens if I remember correctly. It was one of those shots that you think is going to be good but turns out to be great when you see it down loaded It was my first pic to make it to the Pentax Gallery

This is the only cut so it will go on display and sale on June 6th
I will be in touch with a few more galleries over the next 2 days and hope to get some more pics placed

Great shot! Indeed.

If you need a story accompanying it ... "the large droplets will eat up the small ones over time". (this is what has happened already and why there are small and large droplets visible at the same time -- with a spray bottle you would have to wait quite a bit to see such a picture...)

Wow. Great shot Rosemary. I'm fairly new to the forum but your photos certainly stand out. I'm a fan of flower shots anyway.
Congratulations, Susan

Well done Rosemary.
But all well deserved.
I can almost feel the texture of the leaf by looking at this photo.
Brilliant colour too!
