Windsurfing

All shots with K30 and M*300/4 ISO400 1/1600. I have recently learned to use Catch in focus. Really good feature in shooting of action sports with manual focus lenses. You don't really lose much compared to AF lenses. Took 200+ frames and less than 10% missed the focus and in most cases the blame is simply on the shooter. X posted to M club.

Thanks. Love the canoe shots. Well done.

More windsurf action with manual focus and CIF. Getting better at this. Missed only a few shots where the rider is almost at infinity. With 300mm lens it easy to misplace the focus point a little in that situation and shoot too far back.

From one of the support races at the 2016 Oz Superbike race. K-1 & HD 150-450 at 1/25s.

Same lens combo, different corner and race, image captured at 1/125s.

The nice thing about our Junior Varsity Football games is that they start earlier so there is plenty of sunlight. Here are a few shots from last Thursday night.

Chloé climbing the route "zolg is mean", in the south of France.

K5ii, Tamron 70-200/2,8 @f3,2 or 3,5, probably 1/320 to 1/640, and iso 200 to 800.
Fom my Instagram :Aurčle Brémond (@aurele_brems) ? Instagram photos and videos

The K5ii is really an awesome body compared to the Kx ! But i have to say that i'm leaning slowly on a K3ii for a tad more Pickles and the AF grid... Ah temptation !

A sport is a physical activity organized around an official competition system and rules*. So it definitely is a sport

And even if it wasn't, it absolutely and totaly have its place here, because it's really cool

Many great shots in this thread, but these are fantastic! Love the clarity! According to your exif, many of these were taken at around 100mm, there must be close vantage points for you to get these shots?

I've been considering it for several months and finally bit the bullet and purchased a K-1 from Adorama with the grip. It arrived Tuesday and Wednesday night I got my first chance to try it out at a wrestling match at school. I was pleased with how well it worked with my Sigma 70-200 f/2.8. It will take some time to get used to the different locations of buttons compared to the K3. Here were some of my favorite shots:
