Looks like a rough game!

---------- Post added 07-22-15 at 11:29 PM ----------

Here's one from last month when the water was really high. This is a crazy run full of waterfalls and all kinds of hazards. Very impressive to watch a good kayaker paddle it!
K-3 & DA* 16-50

A few from me.

This is Daphne Schippers a few years ago when she was an heptathlon athlete. Since 2014 she opted to do sprint only and won both 100 & 200 meters at the European championship. This year she has choosen to do the sprint only after she ahd a couple of injuries when doing some parts of the hepathlon. She wil compete at the world championship in august 2015 and I'm afraid I'm not gonna see here anymore at the smal atlethics meeting which is held every year in Eindhoven where I took this picture.

A few equestrian pictures since I haven't seen any of them is this topic sofar.

This is Julia Roberts from Austria

This is Piergiorgio Bucci from Italy

Some cycling from last month, The West Elk Bicycle Classic.

This kid, Kaden, is 11 and he rode the entire 134 Mile ~10,000 vertical Ft. course in a very respectable time. He was brought in on a scholarship to ride in honor of our friend Dale who was killed cycling this summer. Dale would have been impressed with Kaden!

Nice photos, before the ball clanged off the rim. Kobe was such a competitor and so great for so long. Hope he find his legs and shooting touch this year and lights it up and goes out with a bang.

Thanks.

He won't find his legs or anything anymore and that's why he's retiring. Last night he was so relaxed, non-competitive and smiled a lot. I think he's just saying goodbye to the game and to the fans.

The Hawks did a great tribute with highlights and the place erupted every time he made some moves. The Hawks fans were cheering him on and chanted Kobe! Kobe! I actually felt sad after the game when everyone kept chanting his name and he went mid court and waved goodbye.

I took my grandson to the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl yesterday and took my K3 with a Sigma 18-250 lens (since the 70-200 was too big to meet the stadium requirements). Our seats were up pretty high so the angle was different than what I'm used to when shooting on the sideline of High School games. Still got some good shots when cropped. I also took some with the Tamron 1.4 TC added. Here are some favorite shots:

Celebration after a Houston TD

Nice defensive play

Great catch in the endzone (but too little, too late for FSU.)
