Update: Seller responded and says "sure" he will substitute 2.5mm cable upon request.

The poor guy is probably wondering where all of a sudden all these Pentax guys are coming from. I just ordered one myself.

Yeah, I'd imagine so.

I'll be very interested in some of you buyers posting the results of using this item. Did any of you also order the extra "flash stand attachment" for it?

Examples:
JB Media | Dallas Storm 20140327
And all the following shots in that set.

I didn't order the flash stand attachment. I home-made one:
JB Media | MJKZZ-LTRIG with Homemade mount

Has anyone used the MJKZZ-LTRIG-C3 on the K-5ii? I'm interested but I'm not sure which cable I need. One post mentions the 2.5mm instead of the N3 and another post says the canon cable work on the Pentax, so I'm a little confused. I'm also looking at the MJKZZ-LSTRIG-KIT. Has anyone tried this device from the same seller?

As far as I can tell, the pentax plug wiring is identical to the canon "consumer" grade cameras (rebel series, 60d, and other mid to low end) - I have a whole pile of wired 2.5mm remotes made for canon and every one of them works on my K-50. Note that the sellers part number that MJKZZ-LTRIG-C3 ends in "C3" which means that it comes with the canon N3 connector which is not compatible. If you ask him to, he said he would substitute a 2.5mm cable upon request. You must ask, otherwise you will not get the right cable.

Have been looking at these myself over the last few days, we have just ended our 8th straight day of big electrical storms (and big rainfall) they says there's a few days to go yet.

The only successful strike I've captured was a bit of a fluke
