strobe question?

I know there are limits to the type of strobes we can use and not fry the electronics of our digital cameras. I have a K-10 and 100. I also have a sunpak 611 thyristor, and want to know whether it will fry my cameras?

First google link brings us to:
Photo Strobe Trigger Voltages
and it says:

4V reported by Kent Fulcher, but
some old models will trigger at 190V, according to Tocad (via Jonas Lohr)

So, if You want to find out the real voltage of Your Sunpak 611, get a multimeter and measure the trigger voltage.
