FINALLY got the grip back today...with a message stating that nothing was found wrong with it.
After re-attaching the grip and putting the battery in the grip, the camera again fails to power on. With the battery in the body, the camera powers on, and the grip functions normally.
Ran through a series of tests with the Pentax rep over the phone, and now both the grip and the K10 are on their way BACK to Pentax for service. I hope to God the turn around time is a bit faster this time. Again, how do I get the Pro Service speed?
