Nice bug and very detailed. we have similar critters over here but grey in colour. We cal them Slaters. I have never thought to photograph one. I will have to find one soon and compare.

Pillbugs/slaters/roly-polies etc. are Isopods, an order of Crustacea. They are gill-breathers, so need a moist environment. Fascinating little creatures and good subjects for photomacrography.

That is absolutely PERFECT! Sharp as the proverbial tack. Excellent color contrasts and saturation, too. Once again, I'll say it..... NOTHING will ever take the place of sharpness! You can apply all the unsharpmask in the world and it WILL NOT make an out-of-focus image sharp! All it will do is make your photo look really, really crummy!
