There were perhaps 750 people there. The director of advertising was greeting people and introducing me to the guests as if I was some kind of dignitary. It was rather embarrassing to say the least. I left early...

By the way, the K20D reproduces incredibly well in print. The gradations are amazing even in print. I am now totally convinced that for 90 percent of my applications the K20D will more than suffice.

That is truly amazing. Kudos to Pentax for making the camera, and kudos to you for having the fortitude to use the tool that best serves your artistic needs. I would imagine if you were in some French coffee shop with other fashion photogs, and you all pulled out your cameras, I am sure you would draw the most attention for what you didn't have. Funny, but I was going to say: "pulled out your equipment"... HA!

Excellent

Ben,

I was in Paris at the early part of the month. I can see why you want to live there.

I WANT to live there

The place is beautiful and everyrone seemed so polite. I had heard rumours of rude arrogant french waiters etc. Haha.. nope everyone was polite.

The buildings and the cosmopolitan look of the crowds. Wonderful.

I can see why you can get inspired in Paris.

Next time I go to Paris, It will be just photography.

Well done on the mag issue..
