I'm going to be taking pictures (not professionally, just for friends/family) at an outdoor nighttime graduation on a h.s. football field.
I plan on using a K-3, Sigma 17-50, and Pentax 540 flash.
These graduations tend to be very packed (a lot of people, not very much space to move around), so shooting off camera may not be an option because I'll probably also be passing the camera around for others to take pictures (i'll probably be in some of the pictures) so I have to keep the setup as simple as possible. I was debating a modifier (I have a flashbender and an omnibounce) but I'm not sure if it would really help in the conditions I'll be in.
Any other tips/suggestions? Thanks!
I shoot a lot of dance so no flash and my base ISO in theater is 3200 with K5IIs bodies. 6400 is okay too - this was ISO 6400 on a Sigma 100-300/4 at 260mm from rear of theater
