How do you sell your Pentax stuff

I bought a K20D so I have a K10D body aand some lenses from my LBA.

I don't want to just put it on ebay. I want to give people a good deal. Do you set a price and offer a discount for college ID (easy to fake).

There is no real difference between the back of my closet and trash can. My LBA is not for profit. I just don't want to sell it cheap to some one to re-sell on ebay.

Please give me some ideas.

I'd recommend both your local college bulletin board, and the marketplace on here.
It'll probably sell within a day or 2 here, so if you'd like to give the students a chance you might want to post it on their board a day or 2 before this place.

I'd make up a nice package for the students as well, since most don't have a lot of extra $ to spend on additional lenses and accessories.

I applaud you for trying to give people a good deal, and I hope that the right person buys it.

Seriously, I applaud your wanting to give good deal. I'd say contact the photography departments of the various colleges/schools around here in Houston. Another idea is to contact Abel at the Texas Photo Forum. He's dialed into the Houston photography scene and can probably direct you to some local students, though he'll most likely know Canon/Nikon shooters. Still, he doesn't seem like a brand snob and I'd bet he can help you out.

Of course, if that doesn't work out, sell it here on the Marketplace.

People around here are always up for a good deal.

If you'd rather deal locally, though, then why not go through Craigslist?
craigslist: houston classifieds for jobs, apartments, personals, for sale, services, community, and events

I bet you could find plenty of poor local college students who would love nothing more than to take your gear off of your hands.

I've had lots of luck in the marketplace here - buying and selling.

Craigs list and ebay are good too.
