Great job!
And what flash did you use? very interesting! It doesn't look like ring flash, it comes from above. very soft and evenly illuminated.

Thank so much sergysergy

I change the aperture using the index finger.
By the time I looked object to open the aperture open than most. I take the time to decrease the aperture down to about 16-20 step .By distance light. At that time.

I use the flash popup (on camera head). And use the pipe extending to the light the object.

Very impressive. I definitely overlooked the ability of pipe extension. I should try it. Thanks

Yes..

Can you try now. It's easy to control light.

I have sample pipe extension show you (Can adjust and movement).

Remarkably good for a kit zoom. Have you played with one of the nice manual 50mm lenses? Those seem like they'd be great reversed.

Wonderful Mahaku. Creative in your macro shots and equipment setup. We should wonder why we want to spend so much instead of having this kind of fun.
I like that you have captured several really good compostions of your subjects and not just magnified snapshots.

Impressive. My kit lens is just lying around somewhere and my biggest question is why I didn't think of this.

Great job!

Using the two lens method works really well too. It does get tricky with the f-stop but you can get some really close up photos.
