Basic Light Painting Video

I've been playing around with light painting and had someone on the forum ( @UncleVanya ?) ask me to make a video of how I make these photos. I put this together, I hope it's helpful.

Very neat. Thanks for investing your knowledge into the community!

I was suprised that I didn't see a kaleidoscope of shapes and patterns underneath in the final image. I wonder how one would include that.

Cheers! I haven't put a video together in a long time, that was fun. I didn't mention you can use a cardboard or plumbing tube to restrict your flashlight beam if it's too wide.

It was fun to put together!

Yeah, I believe because you're moving the light around constantly, those patterns are averaged out to a fine blur.
