I am doing a headshot for a DPR challenge. I have one flash that I have intermittent problems with that I might be able to use and then another that is definitely good. I have a small light box diffuser that fits on the flash, a opaque diffuser that fits on a flash and a 32 inch collapsible reflector/diffuser and a chicken bucket ring flash.

Any suggestions for this gear? I have been watching videos online but I am open to suggestions.

The flashes are fully manual and I have remote triggers. My lenses are most likely my 50/1.8 and my Tamron 90/2.8 macro, although I have used my 35/2.4 for other shots. But I am leaning toward the first two.

So many possibilities.

One that'd be interesting is the ring flash like a glamour shot, but the second as a rim light from behind and above - introduce 3D into what is normally a 2D looking setup.
