If you had the Beta version of LR 2 you can do an upgrade for $99.99. I had the beta plus LR 1.4 so it probably would have upgraded the eralier version, but i don't know for sure.

I really like what LR can do to WB on a jpg.

Just bought some larger CF cards so I'll be doing some RAW shooting soon
Great choice JC.. [raw] if they are pictures you want to keep or put to print. I switch back and forth from Jpeg to Raw depending on what I am shooting. The nice thing with the K10 is you can switch on each shot if you want with one press of a button... I find where raw really makes a difference in PP is on landscape shots with difficult WB shots... Cheers and good luck with your shooting JC.. JIMBO

LR 2 is a $99 upgrade from 1.x. I just did it. The WB eyedropper is superbly useful. I always shoot RAW, never jpg, and leave the camera on auto white balance for the LCD when I need to look at a shot. The k10d is usually very close in the outdoors here.

Thanks Canada Rockies... Looking forward to upgrading. The only time I am not on Auto WB is indoors... I tried switching around out doors from Shade to full sun but the biggest difference in the shots seems to come from other settings...[ISO / AV etc and of coarse sutter speed and filters] I like your work...
